At least three people were killed and another is in critical condition after a bus carrying mostly children and teenagers from a local church camp overturned on Saturday near Indianapolis. A pastor, his wife, and a mother of five were identified as those killed on Sunday. The bus, reportedly traveling “at a high speed,” careened off an exit ramp on I-465 and landed on its side, and the driver said the brakes failed. “It kind of pivoted on the nose of the bus and did a little bit of a twist,” said witness Carol Albright. “How it didn’t hit another car, I don’t know.” Most of the injured were teenagers, but a toddler was also taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
