Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end accused of murdering semipro football player Odin Lloyd, has written a letter from his jail cell where he will remain until his trial. The letter, sent to a fan and which TMZ has verified is real with law enforcement, is in a sense a declaration of innocence. Hernandez writes, “I know ‘God’ has a plan for me, and something good will come out of this ... All the people who turned on me will feel like crap.” The fan, Karl, who was in the jail 15 years ago, said he wrote Hernandez first to offer encouragement.
