Who would’ve thought a campaign for city comptroller could be such a circus? Less-than-serious comptroller candidate Kristin Davis, the former madam who claimed to have arranged prostitutes for Eliot Spitzer, who’s also running for comptroller, has been arrested by FBI agents for selling prescription drugs. According to the FBI, Davis sold prescription drugs to an FBI cooperating witness four times in four months. When she entered the race, she told the New York Daily News, “This is going to be the funnest campaign ever.”
