More people were evacuated from their homes in Idaho on Saturday night after a wildfire pushed north, bringing the total number of evacuated homes up to 2,300. Seven hundred firefighters have been deployed to the region, which includes the wealthy ski resort town of Ketchum, where Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis and more celebrities own homes. The Beaver Creek fire, which started when lightning struck the region on Aug. 7th, is only six percent contained. The fire remained fairly tame until Friday night, when it grew to 144 acres, fed by dry timber and underbush. “The fire is consuming everything,” fire spokeswoman Madonna Lengerich said.
