‘Artist’ Busted at Boston Marathon

    As the city marked one year since the deadly marathon bombing on Tuesday evening, the Boston Police Department did a controlled detonation of two unattended backpacks at the marathon's finish line. Kevin Edson-a self-described performance artist who goes by Kayvon-yelled "Boston strong," as he left a backpack containing a rice cooker. He was reportedly dressed in all black and wearing a veil. Edson's Facebook profile includes a photo of Dzohkhar Tsarnaev with the caption "Had a blast at the marathon!!!" He is also a member of the Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is innocent group. The area was put on lockdown, before bomb squad technicians on the scene later issued an all-clear. Edson was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and possession of a hoax device. It's unclear when he might be arraigned on the charges.
