Amazon Tests In-House Delivery Service

    It's no drone service (yet), but same-day Amazon delivery is in the works. The online marketplace is testing out its own private delivery network with Amazon trucks and contractors to bring packages to customers faster and control expenses. "Amazon is growing at a faster speed than UPS and FedEx, who are responsible for shipping the majority of our packages," the company recently wrote. "At this rate Amazon cannot continue to rely solely on the solutions provided through traditional logistics providers."
