Rancher Cliven Bundy, the 67-year-old whose standoff with federal rangers made him a Fox News star, held a long, unproductive press conference to address uproar over his comments that "negros" may have been "better off as slaves." He defended his comments, saying he was just "wondering" about whether African-Americans had it better as slaves, and he's "still wondering." He noted: "They're not slaves no more.
