The owner of the Dallas Mavericks has something in common with the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers: They’re both prejudiced. Mark Cuban apologized to the family of Trayvon Martin after admitting in an interview with Inc. magazine that: “If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it’s late at night, I’m walking to the other side of the street.” The example was to show his prejudice, but he later tweeted that he “should have used different examples,” though stood by the rest of the interview. “[W]hile we all may have our prejudices and bigotries, we have to learn that it’s an issue that we have to control, that it’s part of my responsibility as an entrepreneur to try to solve it,” he wrote.
