Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has unveiled a proposal to strip terrorists—both at home and abroad—of their Australian citizenship. The changes, introduced as part of an update to the country’s immigration laws, would apply to the roughly 120 dual-nationals fighting for ISIS overseas, as well as 160 others supporting the terror group financially. Those who have only Australian citizenship would not be affected. Abbott terms this “renunciation by conduct.”
