Russian-owned encrypted messaging app Telegram announced Wednesday that it shut down access to several of its channels that people have used to communicate about ISIS. The move comes after reports suggested terrorist groups have used such encryption methods to communicate. According to reports, Telegram blocked 78 ISIS-related channels across 12 different languages.
