Search crews have reportedly picked up a beacon that Egyptian officials say is emanating from the EgyptAir jetliner that crashed in the Mediterranean last week, presumably killing all 66 people on board. A French vessel carrying equipment that is able to find cockpit voice recorders and flight data has now joined the search for parts of the aircraft. The beacon’s location has now narrowed the search to a three-mile radius, said chief investigator Ayman al-Moqadem. The “black box” flight-data recorders have not yet been found.
