An Arkansas inmate serving 60 years for a murder conviction escaped from a prison in the state on Monday. Lloyd Collins Jones, 40, pleaded guilty in 2012 in the strangling death of a 16-year-old girl. He was accompanied by armed prison guards on his way to labor duties at a construction site when he was able to get away. “The search perimeter is focused around the escape location and adjacent areas,” said a Department of Correction spokesman.
