Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson has moved to fire the seven officers who are accused of covering up the fatal shooting of black teen Laquan McDonald, DNAinfo reports. The officers were reportedly told via email that he is recommending their termination following the October 2014 shooting and resulting fallout. The recommendations were sent to the Chicago Police Board, which will decide whether to act.
