A classic tabloid splash for tomorrow's Daily Mirror - a shocking headline proclaiming that cocaine has been found in "Kate's Hospital Toilet."
I know what you're thinking - how did they get reporters into her loo? Is nothing sacred?
Well, the point is that the hospital Kate is due to give birth in - St Mary's - is enormous. It's a huge public facility with 495 beds, covering an area larger than a New York City block. All kinds of people wander in and out of it on a daily basis.
The drug traces - swabbed off a toilet cistern lid - were found by an enterprising reporter for the Mirror in one of the many publicly-accessible areas of the hospital.
The tiny, privately operated unit that Kate is going into, the Lindo Wing, is, by contrast, really very small.
The maternity unit consists of 16 rooms: 5 labour rooms and 11 postnatal rooms. For medical and surgical patients in other specialties, The Lindo wing also has 18 inpatient rooms and five day case rooms.
Yes, it is technically part of St Mary's Hospital, and it has the same zip code. But it is hermetically sealed off from the hoi polloi by sturdy brick walls. You can't just wander in there with a big bag of cocaine. Financially and culturally, the Lindo Wing is a very, very different space to st Mary's.
And neither cocaine nor reporters for the Daily Mirror have been found in the Lindo Wing.
