Scott Pruitt, chief of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will lead a formal program to “critique” mainstream climate science, E&E News reported on Friday. According to the energy-focused news outlet, “The program will use ‘red team, blue team’ exercises to conduct an ‘at-length evaluation of U.S. climate science,’ [a senior] official said, referring to a concept developed by the military to identify vulnerabilities in field operations.”
