Fox News Poll: 40 Percent Say Media Are Bigger Threat Than White Supremacists
And 75 percent of Trump voters.
Kevin Lamarque/Reuters
A staggering 40 percent of Americans believe that the news media represent a greater threat to the country than white supremacists, according to a new Fox News poll. Moreover, 75 percent of individuals who voted for Donald Trump think reporters are a bigger threat to the U.S. than white supremacists. The poll reflects, if anything, the fact that Trump’s constant attacks on the media are resonating, particularly with his own voters. The poll also found that 56 percent believe Trump is tearing the country apart.
