From Miley Cyrus to Lady Gaga, Stars Who Look Like They’re Dressed For Halloween (Photos)

Some celebrities dress up for Halloween—and some dress like it’s Halloween, even when it’s not. From Nicole Richie to Tilda Swinton, see stars who donned costumes as regular outfits.

You know the old adage: "everything has its season, everything has its time." That may be true -- but some stars have proved that Halloween is not the only season for costumes. Forget the pumpkins, candy corn or haunted houses—these wild-dressers boast outfits that look exactly like Halloween costumes...even when they're not dressed up for Halloween. From Lady Gaga as a Kleenex to Miley Cyrus as a Pink Lady, see some of the best (unintentional) Halloween ensembles -- that appeared the other 364 days of the year.

Nicole Richie as Catwoman

Nicole Richie just couldn't contain her excitement for Halloween. On October 24, with the holiday only a few days away, she arrived at Who What Wear's "50 Style Stars" party in West Hollywood with a pair of lace cat ears on her head. The look, a clear nod to a sexy catwoman, foreshadows something big from Richie come October 31.

Lady Gaga as Kleenex

It's a marshmallow, it's an ice queen, it's...Lady Gaga looking like a Kleenex. On October 25, following her concert the night before, Mother Monster paraded around Berlin (even at the the historic Berlin Wall) fully wrapped in sheer white tulle dress that resembled a Kleenex tissue. Thanks for reminding us to get our flu shot.

Madonna as a Boy Scout

Come on, did Madonna not realize she looked exactly like a Cub Scout when she put this get-up on? Oh, wait, she did. Always political, the Material Girl wore this Boy Scout costume to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards on March 17 as a critique against the Boy Scouts’s stance on gays. Way to make a statement, Madge.

Hilary Rhoda as a Roman Emperor

Toga! Toga! Though model Hilary Rhoda was attending the Estee Lauder 'Modern Muse' Fragrance Launch Party, nowhere on the invitation did it say “theme party.” The September 12 event makes her over a month too early to the party.

Michelle Pfeiffer as "Mac Daddy Pimp"

It’s as if Pfeiffer stopped off at Party City on October 16 to beat the rush and buy the megastore's iconic "Mac Daddy Pimp" costume. This purple and patterned velvet two-piece suit that she wore to the premiere of The Family is wrong on so many levels.

Miley Cyrus as a Pink Lady

Miley Cyrus looks fresh off the set of Grease in her Pink Lady jacket and Olivia Newtown-style leather pants on September 12 for Alan Carr's talk show, Chatty Man. Is she more a Sandy? Rizzo? Frenchy? Weigh in with your vote.

Rihanna as Marilyn Monroe

We know that whips and chains excite her, but we never would have guessed she had a more tame, sexy side. Rihanna looks like a true Marilyn Monroe in this coquettish white flouncy dress at her July 10 concert in Monaco. Between Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour and Monroe’s hit "Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend," the two sizzling hot women also clearly share a love of ice.

Paloma Faith as the Little Mermaid

Cue The Little Mermaid theme song, “Under the Sea.” Between her red locks, the conch shell-like flower, and mermaid gown, Paloma Faith looks like our favorite Disney mermaid, Ariel, at the Ashish S/S 2014 show on September 14. All she needs to complete her look would be a crab with a Jamaican accent and a treasure trove filled with “gadgets and gizmos a plenty.”

Anna Dello Russo as Barbie

Anna Dello Russo arrived with her dashing husband, Ken, in her Barbie dream car at the Salvatore Ferragamo show in Milan on June 23. In a fuchsia, feathered Barbie dress, ADR’s “life in plastic” is pretty fantastic.

Chloe Norgaard as the Yellow Power Ranger

Let’s face it, if you were never the Pink or Yellow Power Ranger for Halloween, you didn’t have a real childhood. Model Chloe Norgaard makes up for her lost time with a playful yellow Power-ranger tee at the Alexander Wang Show on September 7. Go Go Chloe Norgaard!

Georgia May Jagger as a Skeleton

We are all about Halloween enthusiasts, but someone should have told Georgia May that Halloween is on October 31, and not September 14. The British model and daughter of Mick Jagger should have kept this skeleton [dress] in her closet a little longer.

Michelle Harper as a Black Unicorn

Michelle Harper is known for her outlandish outfits and this one is clearly no different. Her crazy frontal spike and black garb makes her look like she is going for a spooky unicorn look at the CFDA Awards on June 3.

Bjork as a Coral Reef

Kudos to Bjork for getting in touch with nature, but this is a bit too much. Bjork looks like she's dressed up as a coral reef for her January 28nd concert in Melbourne. The good news? She can really go green and recycle this outfit for next Halloween.

Tilda Swinton as Uncle Sam

Tilda Swinton loves Amurica, yes she does. She wore this Uncle Sam get-up on October 8th for the Young Adam movie premiere in 2003. She may have gotten the month right, but Halloween was still a few weeks away when she decided to go head to toe in red, white, and blue.
