Gaddafi Is Trapped: Rebels

A spokesman for Libya’s new military council claims that former dictator Muammar Gaddafi is trapped within a 40-mile radius inside the country. “He can’t get out,” Anis Sharif told the Associated Press. “We are just playing games with him.” Though Sharif wouldn’t divulge details, he claimed that Gaddafi has been tracked by a combination of human intelligence and technology. Meanwhile, the former rebels’ deputy defense minister denied the report, and said that the new government’s main goal is not to capture Gaddafi but to liberate the entire country.
