Paris Fashion Week came to a close on Wednesday with a piece of major news: Marc Jacobs was leaving the top post at Louis Vuitton, whose ready-to-wear line he launched 16 years ago -- reportedly to focus on his namesake label. And with that, fashion month -- which began in early September in New York, brought the fashion set to London, and then on to Paris and Milan -- went out with a bang. Paris glided by in a whirlwind of glorious shows -- punctuated, as is often the case with spring collections, with exuberant florals, bright colors, and high hemlines. Our veteran photographer, Kevin Tachman, was there behind the scenes to capture it all. From his view at Viktor & Rolf to Kenzo, see highlights from Paris Fashion Week.
