The cult-following surrounding HBO series Game of Thrones is undeniable. After all, there are entire cosplay cultures dedicated to dressing up and fighting for the throne. But blogger Zana Bayne was quick to recognize that the leather-clad outfits and impeccably draped dresses were akin to those being sent down today’s high-fashion runways. Enter the next Thrones gauntlet: GOT Runway (self-described as an “ode to the fits and fashions of the HBO show”). From Chanel and Saint Laurent to Rick Owens and Alexander McQueen, Bayne pairs the looks of Daenerys Targaryen, Sansa Stark, Jon Snow, and many more of the shows beloved characters against runway collections from the past decade for an epic battle of “Who Wore it Best.”
