Looks like President Obama isn't the only world leader taking heat for bailouts. German voters in the populous North Rhine-Westphalia district, fed up with the Greek bailout, have given Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Party a bruising defeat in a key regional election. Though definitive results are not yet in, it’s likely that control of the regional government will swing to a coalition led by the Social Democrats, Merkel's rival party. Such a shift would endanger Merkel's majority in the upper house of parliament and derail her entire national agenda, which includes a proposed tax-system overhaul.
