Frozen Fudge-Dipped Strawberry Mudslide

A regular Mudslide contains more than 400 calories; at 193, this one has less than half that.

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE DRINK
1 low-cal frozen fudgsicle of about 40 cals
2 oz. light vanilla soymilk
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. cal-free strawberry-flavored syrup
3 frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
1 tbsp. sugar-free chocolate syrup
2 no-calorie sweetener packets
3/4 cup crushed ice or 4 - 6 ice cubes

Remove stick from popsicle and place in blender. Add all other ingredients & 1 oz. water. Blend at high speed until thoroughly mixed.

Upside-Down Tequila Sunrise

A standard Tequila Sunrise has 230 calories and 25g of carbs (but zero fat); this one only has 134.

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE DRINK
6 oz. light orange juice drink
1 1/2 oz. tequila
1 tsp. sugar-free calorie-free raspberry-flavored syrup

Pour juice drink and tequila into a glass filled halfway with ice. Stir to mix. Add syrup and gently swirl.

Mixed Berry Margarita

A restaurant-mixed margarita can contain over 250 calories.

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE DRINK
1/2 cup frozen unsweetened berries, slightly thawed
2 oz. diet lemon-lime soda
1 1/2 oz. tequila
1 oz. lime juice
2 no-calorie sweetener packets
3/4 cup crushed ice or 4 - 6 ice cubes
Optional garnish: lime slice

Place all ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth.Garnish with a lime slice.

Piña Colada Freeze

Typical Piña Coladas are more fatty than Big Macs, at 644 calories a drink; this slim-down version only has 156.

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE DRINK
1 1/2 oz. coconut rum
1 1/2 oz. sugar-free calorie-free coconut-flavored syrup
1/4 cup fat-free vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp. canned crushed pineapple packed in juice
1 no-calorie sweetener packet
1 cup crushed ice or 5 - 8 ice cubes
Optional pineapple wedge garnish

Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend at high speed until smooth and completely mixed.

De-Pudged Pigs in a Blanket

A standard ungarnished hot dog has about 250 calories; one of these little snacks is only 32 calories.

INGREDIENTS FOR 8 SWADDLED PIGS
8 fat-free franks
1 package Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Refrigerated Dough

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut each hot dog into 4 even pieces. Set aside. Take a triangle piece of dough and stretch it out slightly. Then, cut that into four long, narrow triangles. Beginning at base of each triangle, roll a hot dog piece up in each. Place pigs on greased baking sheet. Space evenly. Place sheet in the oven, and cook for about 12 minutes, until dough appears slightly crispy.

Watermelon Frojito

The usual Mojito is on the healthier side of drinks, but still has about 200 calories and loads of sugar; this one is light on sugar and only 154 calories

INGREDIENTS FOR ONE DRINK
3 - 4 mint leaves
1 lime, cut into 4 wedges
2 no-calorie sweetener packets
3/4 cup watermelon chunks, seedless or seeds removed
1 1/2 oz. rum
1 cup crushed ice or 5 - 8 ice cubes

Place mint leaves, 2 lime wedges, and sweetener in a tall glass. Squeeze juice from remaining lime wedges into the glass and discard those wedges. Crush and muddle contents of the glass. Set aside. Place watermelon, rum, and ice in a blender, and blend at high speed until smooth. Pour into the glass with mint-lime mixture and stir well.

Sweet 'n Sassy Boneless Hot Wings

Eight Pizza Hut hot wings have about 900 calories; four of these have 134 calories total.

INGREDIENTS FOR 16 NUGGETS
8 oz. raw boneless skinless lean chicken breast, cut into 16 nuggets
1/4 cup fat-free liquid egg substitute
1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
2 dashes each salt and black pepper
1/4 cup sweet Asian chili sauce
2 tsp. seasoned rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray large baking sheet with nonstick spray. Place chicken in a bowl, cover with egg substitute, and toss to coat. In separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper; mix well. One at a time, transfer nuggets to flour bowl, giving a shake first to remove excess egg substitute. Coat completely with flour, then transfer to baking sheet. Bake for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is fully cooked. Combine chili sauce, vinegar, and crushed red pepper in a bowl and mix well. Add chicken and toss to coat.

Swingin' Sangria

Sangria's already healthy (for a drink), but it's packed with sugar, and has 21g of carbs; this one has 97 calories and half the carbs.

INGREDIENTS FOR 10 DRINKS
One 2-serving packet (about 1 tsp.) sugar-free lemonade powdered drink mix
One 8-oz. can pineapple chunks packed in juice, not drained
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 orange, peeled, roughly chopped, seeds removed
1 peach or nectarine, roughly chopped
1 lime, sliced into rings
One 750-mL bottle pinot grigio
12 oz. diet lemon-lime soda

Combine powdered drink mix with 8 oz. water in a glass and stir to dissolve. Set aside. Place all fruit in a large pitcher. Add lemonade mixture, 8 additional oz. water, and pinot grigio. Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours. (Overnight is best.) Just prior to serving, stir in soda. Pour and be sure to get a nice amount of fruit in each glass.
