Anders Behring Breivik, the man who confessed to a bombing and a shooting that killed 77 people in Norway this summer, was deemed sane and fit for trial Monday by a district judge in the suspect’s first public court hearing in Oslo. Judge Torkjel Nesheim also shushed the 32-year-old right-wing extremist when he began giving a speech portraying himself as the "commander" of a resistance movement. Nesheim said there was no evidence Breivik had any accomplices, and ordered his custody extended for another 12 weeks. More than 500 people packed the court in Oslo, along with about 30 survivors and relatives of the victims. Breivik, dressed in a dark suit, looked them straight in the eye when he entered.
