Kurdish rebels declared an official ceasefire with Turkey Saturday, after their jailed leader this week ordered an end to a several-decade long struggle for autonomy. The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) says it will keep a "clear and formal" ceasefire with Turkey in a video taped at a rebel holdout in Iraq. "The decision by our leader is all of ours. We accept this decision, we agree with it," a rebel spokesman said in the video."We see it as historic, correct and very important and as the start of a new period." The United States and UN consider the PKK a terrorist organization.
