In the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff, and said City Hall will be lit up with rainbow colors at sunset. The accused shooter, Omar Mateen, killed 50 people and injured at least 53 others at a gay nightclub before he died in a gun battle with police. It is the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
