What would Rachel Maddow have to say about this? MSNBC Host Keith Olbermann named Ines Sainz, the female sports reporter who says she was harassed by football players in the New York Jets locker room, as one of his “worst people in the world” on Monday night. Accusing her of “undermin[ing] every female sports reporter who knows the game,” he said she was “dressed unprofessionally to cover a sporting event.” Sainz wore a pair of tight jeans and a white polo shirt; Jets owner Woody Johnson personally apologized to her after the incident. Olbermann’s critique reeks of misogyny to us, but he went on to offer a more substantial critique of the NFL for repeatedly giving credentials to Sainz’s network, TV Azteca, which had previously sent a reporter to the 2008 Super Bowl in a wedding dress and had her propose to Tom Brady.
