Pope Francis on Sunday said that mothers can breastfeed their children inside the Sistine Chapel. Francis made the comments after baptizing 34 infants there in a two-hour-long ceremony. “If they start performing a concert [by crying], or if they are uncomfortable or too warm or don’t feel at ease or are hungry... breastfeed them, don’t be afraid, feed them, because this too is the language of love,” the pontiff said, according to Reuters. The remarks are viewed as providing more cover for women to breastfeed in public, something that is still ostracized around the world.
