Western diplomats in Switzerland announced on Sunday that Iran and six world powers have reached a provisional agreement on key parts of a deal to sharply curtail the country’s nuclear program. According to one of the diplomats, Iran had “more or less” agreed to cut the number of centrifuges by more than two-thirds and to have most of its stockpile of nuclear material shipped abroad. With the outlines of a deal reportedly nailed down, the deal is due to be finalized on June 30. Iranian diplomats, meanwhile, denied any reports of specific numbers when it came to centrifuges and exporting stockpiles.
