Rick Perry to Join ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Entertainment Tonight is reporting that former Texas governor and two-time GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry will be among the contestants on the 23rd season of Dancing With the Stars, set to premiere Sept. 12 on ABC. The lineup, which will be announced officially on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning, includes Vanilla Ice, Marilu Henner, and Amber Rose. Also on board is Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, who will attempt to repair the damage done after his troubles in Rio. Perry’s camp neither confirmed nor denied the reality-show casting news on Monday night.

UPDATE: Perry confirmed the news himself on Twitter Tuesday morning.
