Representative Paul Ryan may be a huge Rage Against the Machine fan but the feeling is not mutual. The band's guitarist, Tom Morello, gave Ryan a piece of his mind in a Rolling Stone op-ed this week explaining that the vice president is, in fact, "the embodiment of the machine that our music has been raging aginst for two decades." Morello finds the fact that Ryan has listed his band as one of his favorites "amusing" and wrote, "don't mistake me, I clearly see that Ryan has a whole lotta 'rage' in him: A rage against women, a rage against immigrants, a rage against workers, a rage against gays, a rage against the poor, a rage aganist the environment. Basically the only thing he's not raging against is the priveleged elite he's groveling in front of for campaign contributions."
