A terror threat against the U.S. consulate has prompted the State Department to evacuate diplomats from Lahore, Pakistan, CNN reported on Thursday. An "ordered departure" was issued for all diplomats, who were moved to Islamabad. Only some emergency personnel remained behind. A travel warning also warned U.S. citizens against travel to Pakistan. "The presence of several foreign and indigenous terrorist groups poses a potential danger to U.S. citizens throughout Pakistan," the travel warning said. It is still unclear whether this warning is related to the terror warning that closed diplomatic posts in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
