Brandon Vandenburg, a 23-year-old former Vanderbilt University student, was sentenced to 17 years in prison on Friday for his role in gang-raping an unconscious woman in his dorm three years ago. Vandenburg will serve time on five counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, and unlawful photography.
