A 7-year old girl was shot dead Saturday night, while attending another child’s birthday party in South Bend, Indiana. She was the victim of a drive-by shooting, police say. The girl, whose identity hasn’t been revealed, was one of a number of people standing outside when someone inside a passing vehicle opened fire at around 7.41pm local time. The girl was the only one hit. She was taken to a local hospital, and later pronounced dead.
