According to the Associated Press, a Mexican official has said that the mother of "affluenza" teen Ethan Couch has been deported back to the U.S. Tonya Couch and her son were arrested Monday night in Mexico but Ethan Couch was granted a delay on his deportation on Wednesday. They fled the U.S. earlier in December after a video surfaced that seemed to show Ethan Couch drinking and thus potentially violating his parole. Ethan Couch came to public prominence in 2013 when he stood trial for killing four people while drunk driving and a psychologist for the defense testified that he had "affluenza" – an inability to know right from wrong due to his privileged upbringing.
