Police found a note in the car of a man charged in a Nashville church shooting that referenced retaliation for Dylann Roof, the white supremacist who killed nine people when he opened fire on a black church in Charleston, South Carolina two years ago. Emanuel Kidega Samson was arrested earlier this week for allegedly shooting and killing a woman and injuring seven others at a church on Sunday. Despite the note, police have not yet disclosed what they believe to have been Samson’s motivation.
