If you thought you heard the voice of a Sex and The City star in the blockbuster Wicked, your ears didn’t deceive you. Ariana Grande confirmed that David Eigenberg, who portrayed Miranda’s love interest Steve Brady on the hit show, played a small role in the film. Eigenberg had an uncredited part voicing the Tamarin Monkey. “So that, I guess, is Steve from Sex and the City,” Grande said in the film’s commentary bonus feature, according to People magazine. “He makes a cameo. He has one line and it’s the best line in the whole thing, the little Tamarin Monkey.” Eigenberg came on board to deliver the line, “A solicitor was sacked just for arguing a case,” about 42 minutes into the movie. Grande said it was “the craziest thing in the world.” The Wizard of Oz prequel has so far earned over $700 million at the box office.
