Baseball fans are a zealous lot, and when it comes to getting their hands on a home run ball from their favorite team, they’re known to do everything from attacking old ladies to ripping them from the hands of young children. But hey, it’s America’s pastime, right?
On a more positive note, last night a dedicated Giants fan took a leap of faith into the San Francisco Bay to get his wet mitts on a homer sent out of the park by Joe Panik. The Giants went on to win, crushing Philadelphia with a staggering 15-2.
