Gunshots rang out in the bleachers at a high school football game in New Jersey on Friday night, and at least two people were injured. Players from Pleasantville and Camden Central Jersey Group II high schools ran off the field in the third quarter as spectators scattered. The Press of Atlantic City reported that two people were carried out of the stands to receive medical attention. “We have two victims who were seriously injured,” Police Chief Sean Riggins told reporters. “They are alive at this moment and we are doing everything to make sure that they and their families are getting the medical care that they need.” The two victims were described as one juvenile and one adult, though no further information on them was immediately available. Police have not said whether they have a suspect in custody.
