Angela Zimmann is an ordained Lutheran pastor from Ohio, serving a congregation in the Old City of Jerusalem with her husband, Martin Otto Zimmann. Her 2009 book, “Turning the Noose that Binds into a Rope to Climb,” explores the public speech of women in male-dominated cultures. In 2012 she was the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Ohio’s fifth district. Along with a degree in engineering, she has a PhD in Rhetoric and Writing from Bowling Green State University.
Angela Zimmann explains why she chose to give up an AIPAC endorsement, even though she knew it would undermine her bid for U.S. Congress.
