Ben Taub is a journalist and philosophy student at Princeton University, and a member of the Frontline Freelance Register.  He spent seven weeks in Kilis this summer doing research for a book on unusual people and happenings on the fringe of war.  Prior work has appeared in The Guardian, CNN, and Vice UK.
