ENEMY OF ENLIGHTENMENT
The new monarch has been pushing bunk homeopathic medicine for four decades. This isn’t just silly, it’s dangerous.
Edzard Ernst was was Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at Hannover Medical School (Germany) and Head of the PMR Department at the University of Vienna (Austria). He came to the University of Exeter in 1993 to establish the world’s first Chair in Complementary Medicine. Since 2012, he is Emeritus Professor at the University of Exeter.
Professor Ernst is/was founder/Editor-in-Chief of three medical journals and has been a columnist for many publications, including The Guardian, The Independent, and The Spectator. In 2022, he released his latest book, Charles, The Alternative Prince: An Unauthorised Biography.
