Jewher Ilham is an emerging voice for the Uyghur people, an accomplished young scholar, and the Uyghur Human Rights Fellow at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. She is the daughter of Ilham Tohti, an internationally renowned Uyghur intellectual activist who has been serving a life sentence in China since 2014 for his advocacy on behalf of the Uyghur people. Jewher continues to tirelessly advocate for Uyghur causes, speaking at international events and meeting with numerous government officials.
