LIFE DURING WARTIME
In the year since the colonialist invader, Russia, launched a full-scale war on our country, we’re scotch-taping our lives together, all while living under an existential threat.
Mariia Shuvalova is Kyiv based literary scholar and translator. She teaches at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and works as an Acquisition Editor of the Ukrainian Language Open Access Series at Academic Studies Press (Boston, MA). Fulbright Scholar at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University (2019-2020) and co-founder of NGO New Ukrainian Academic Community.
