The fight to free one of our own must transcend politics.
Montel Williams, the first African American enlisted Marine to be selected for the Naval Academy Prep School go on to graduate the Naval Academy and be commissioned a Naval Officer, spent the rest of his 22 year military career as a special duty intelligence officer in the United States Navy before going on to start the Emmy award winning Montel Williams Show which ran for 17 seasons.
