Soraya Kishtwari is a journalist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She is interested in telling stories that go beyond the headlines. Her focus is on women, gender, human rights and geopolitics. Prior to moving to Vietnam, she spent three years in Democratic Republic of Congo, where she worked on www.mamacongo.org, a photojournalism charity project aimed at supporting orphaned schoolgirls through school/university (she plans to return to finish it off, as soon as the COVID Gods allow).
