Theresa Rebeck is the creator and executive producer of NBC’s new musical drama Smash. Rebeck is also an acclaimed and widely produced playwright whose newest play, Seminar, starring Alan Rickman, is currently playing on Broadway. Rebeck has been honored with numerous awards for her work in both television and theater, including two Emmy nominations, a Writers Guild of America Award, a Peabody Award, and she was a Pulitzer Prize for Drama Finalist.
