Darla Shine, wife of former Fox News executive and current White House deputy chief of staff for communications Bill Shine, said that women in the military should expect sexual harassment, according to CNN’s KFile. “What do you think is going to happen when you go on a submarine for 12 months with 4,000 horny soldiers?” Shine said in a 2009 broadcast on her radio show. “I hate to say it, but it’s true. They should not even be allowed... But you know, the feminists have fought for these rights.” Shine also pushed anti-vaccination conspiracy theories, reportedly saying the flu was a “setup” between the government and pharmaceutical companies. In addition, Shine called sunscreen “a hoax.” This comes as her old social-media posts pushing links between vaccines and autism emerged.
