Broccoli Is Obama’s Favorite Food

Seriously, has Michelle Obama brainwashed her husband? Remember when he ate Five Guys? Apparently the president’s favorite food is now broccoli, according to a pool report Tuesday. The question came from a kid journalist at the Kids’ State Dinner hosted by Michelle. While there is no record of Obama taking the probable future Politico employee aside and admitting that his favorite food is not something leafy and green, unhealthy eaters everywhere can dream. The vegetable appears to have become partisan: former president George H.W. Bush famously once declared he hated it and would no longer eat it. Falling in line with the Democrats and Michelle may win Obama Brownie points from them, but he’s lucky he’s not running for reelection, because this would not fly on the campaign trail.
