In a new interview with London’s Sunday Times, Bruce Springsteen expressed concern about the Democratic Party’s chances in the 2020 presidential election. “I don't see anyone out there at the moment... the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump,” he said. “You need someone who can speak some of the same language [as Trump]... and the Democrats don't have an obvious, effective presidential candidate.” Springsteen, whose hit Broadway show comes to Netflix this month, famously campaigned for President Barack Obama in 2012 and headlined Hillary Clinton’s election-eve rally in 2016.
