Ginger White, the woman who has alleged a 13-year extramarital affair with Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain, said Wednesday that they were engaged in a “very casual” relationship and it was “not a consistent love affair.” White said it was “on and off” over 13 years, and she acknowledged that she has received “gifts and money” consistently from Cain for the past two and a half years. White said that after going public with the affair, she has been “absolutely humiliated and embarrassed,” and she “can’t imagine waking up one morning and deciding to come out with this if it was not true.” Meanwhile, Cain’s campaign said Tuesday that they are “reassessing,” but Cain clarified that message via Twitter, tweeting that “the definition of reassess is: To consider again, esp. while paying attention to new factors. Doesn’t sound like dropping out …”
